Decksaver's dust cover for the Akai Pro MPC Live 3 protects the sampler's 16 touch pads, 7-inch display, and control surface from dirt, moisture, and accidental damage during transport and storage. Designed by Decksaver in collaboration with Akai, the cover follows the hardware's contours precisely, allowing the MPC Live 3 to remain mounted on a stand or tucked into a flight case without removal. The semi-rigid polycarbonate shell resists yellowing and maintains optical clarity whilst the soft microfibre lining safeguards the instrument's front panel from scratches.

Construction centres on injection-moulded polycarbonate measuring 5mm thick at critical stress points, delivering durability without adding significant weight to the MPC Live 3's existing 1.5 kg chassis. The cover slides on and off without tools or fasteners, and its open base design ensures cable connections–USB-C, audio I/O, and DC power input–remain accessible when needed. The microfibre interior fabric is replaceable, extending the cover's operational lifespan beyond typical protective gear.
