The Motorola DTR550 Digital Two-Way Radio offers 900 MHz digital frequency hopping spread spectrum technology (FHSS). It also offers the unique feature of one-to-one calling or group communication. A great feature of the DTR550 is that it uses a seperate set of frequencies different from two-way radios which allows for use without obtaining a license. You can  expect a range of up to 350,000 square feet or 30 floors. The DTR550 meets Military 810 C, D, E, and F specifications for shock, vibration, water, dust and temperature extremes.
